San Diego Creek

The San Diego Creek watershed covers over 110 square miles in central Orange County. It includes portions of the Cities of Costa Mesa, Irvine, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Newport Beach, Orange, Santa Ana, and Tustin.

Much of this creek has been channelized with concrete or boulders, making it less valuable as wildlife habitat and as a natural biological filter for polluted water.
