Look up!
If we look up we notice a number of swallow’s nests stuck to the underside of the bridge. Made of mud from the creekside and swallow spit, these nests are far from the reach of predators like coyotes and bobcats.
Where do you think these birds built their nests prior the bridges being built? (Hint: the common name for species that built these nests is ‘cliff swallow’…too easy?)
